Pabst Milwaukee Brewery welcomed 150 Beer Bloggers

_45A7987 (2)Pabst Brewing Company was pleased to sponsor the 2017 Beer Blogger’s Conference in Brew City. In addition to having head brewer John Kimes speak during the first morning session on Aug. 4, Pabst hosted a lunch at the brand new Pabst Milwaukee Brewery.

Conference attendees walked one block to the Pabst Milwaukee Brewery to explore the newly renovated church-turned-brewpub. Here, they enjoyed small group tours of the brewing facility and were able to experience some of Pabst Brewing Company’s heritage beers as well as new innovation brews. A buffet lunch was specially prepared, with tasting notes from Kimes and chef Rebecca Berkshire.

See what they experienced here:

Here are the top 5 most popular Pabst Milwaukee beers at the Pabst Brewery since doors opened in April:

  1. Pabst Andeker_45A7508
A Helles Lager, this crisp, bright beer’s malty body is built with Pilsner and Munich malts. Caramel malts add a touch of sweetness and depth of color and German noble hops are added for the traditional lager appeal. • 5 ABV, 16 BU, 7 SRM
  2. Summer Solstice Wit
The aromatics from this beer are developed by the Belgian wit beer yeast, not the hops making for easy drinking with only slight bitterness. The flavors of coriander and the balance of sweet orange peel make this pale, hazy wheat beer a perfect summer picnic partner. • 5.0 ABV, 12 BU, 3 SRM
  3. Nor’ Eastie Boys IPA
IPA is the most popular craft beer style. We celebrate this style with variations throughout the year (ex: Double IPA, Rye-IPA, Belgo-IPA). • 6.8 ABV, 70 BU, 9 SRM
  4. Sticky Finger Honey
American Wheat beer with Orange Blossom Honey. Cascade hops, caramel and honey malts and smooth sweet notes and a rich color. • 5 ABV, 17 BU, 7 SRM
  5. Pabst Forst Keller
An unfiltered, unpasteurized naturally cloudy classic German Lager, Zwickelbier originated in the small artisanal and home breweries of Franconia. • 4.6 ABV, 35 BU, 6 SRM
